Section 40-2A-7 Uniform revenue procedures. (a) Maintenance of records; audit and subpoena authority; authority to issue regulations. (1) In addition to all other recordkeeping requirements otherwise set out in this title, taxpayers shall keep and maintain an accurate and complete set of records, books, and other information sufficient to allow the department to determine the correct amount of value or correct amount of any tax, license, permit, or fee administered by the department, or other records or information as may be necessary for the proper administration of any matters under the jurisdiction of the department. (a) The agency shall require each person who acquires, possesses or uses a source of ionizing radiation to maintain records relating to its receipt, storage, transfer or disposal and such other records as the agency may require, subject to exemptions as may be provided by rules or regulations. Section 22-14-22 Certification of facilities licensed only by federal government; request for inspection; inspection fee; failure to pay fee. The State Radiation Control Agency may issue a certification for facilities licensed only by the federal government if it has sufficient data, reports, and/or other information to determine whether such a facility is complying with the rule specified in Section 22-14-20. Such facility may request the inspection by the staff of the State Radiation Control Agency of those activities related to the volume reduction of low-level radioactive waste.
