Section 22-30A-3 Alabama Hazardous Substance Cleanup Fund established; appropriations. (a) There is hereby established within the State Treasury a special revenue fund to be known as the Alabama Hazardous Substance Cleanup Fund. All federal grants, state appropriations, penalties, reimbursements and any other funds collected pursuant to this chapter are hereby appropriated for the purposes provided for in this chapter and shall be deposited into said fund. Any funds remaining in the Alabama Hazardous Substance Cleanup Fund at the end of any fiscal year shall not revert to the General Fund but shall remain in said fund and is hereby reappropriated until expended in accordance with the provisions of this chapter. (b) There is hereby appropriated from the State General Fund for the fiscal year ending September 30, 1989, the amount of $100,000.00 for the start-up and administrative costs necessary to implement this chapter and for inactive or abandoned hazardous substance site cleanup...

Section 16-61B-1 Legislative intent. There is hereby created within the State Treasury a fund, designated the Education Technology Fund, hereinafter referred to as the fund. The State Superintendent of Education shall authorize the expenditure of monies within the fund, upon the approval of the State Board of Education. Section 25-4-31 Treasurer; separate accounts; disposition of interest and penalties. (a) The secretary shall designate an employee of the unemployment compensation agency as treasurer of the fund who shall pay all vouchers or checks duly drawn upon the fund, in such manner as the secretary may prescribe. The proceeds of any fees collected under this division except for college or university commemorative tag fees, are hereby appropriated for each fiscal year to the board of corrections and may be used to pay salaries and other expenses of the board; provided, however, that the expenditure of the funds so appropriated shall be budgeted and allotted pursuant to Article 4 of Chapter 4 of Title 41 and limited to the amount appropriated.
