Section 22-11A-10 State Board of Health to investigate reported cases of tuberculosis; voluntary treatment; probate court may order compulsory treatment and quarantine; cost of treatment; exercise of religious freedom. Whenever the State Board of Health or its authorized representative shall discover, as a result of its own investigation or as a result of any report required by this article, that any person may be afflicted with tuberculosis, the State Board of Health, through its authorized representative, shall investigate or further investigate the circumstances and, if after investigation, the representative of the State Board of Health is of the opinion that an active case of tuberculosis is found, he shall encourage the person infected to take voluntary treatment to meet the minimum requirements prescribed by the State Board of Health. The State Board of Health, with the advice and consultation of the Statewide Health Coordinating Council, is hereby authorized and empowered to prepare, review and revise as necessary a preliminary state health plan which shall be made up of the health systems plans of the health systems agencies within the state. Section 27-21A-7 Evidence of coverage and charges for health care services. (a)(1) Every enrollee residing in this state is entitled to an evidence of coverage. If the enrollee obtains such coverage through an insurance policy or a contract issued by a health care service plan, the insurer or the health care service plan shall issue the evidence of coverage. The State Board of Health shall send written review comments to the project architect within 60 calendar days for projects costing less than fifteen million dollars ($15,000,000), or within 120 calendar days on projects costing over fifteen million dollars ($15,000,000), of the State Board of Health's receipt of each submittal.
