Section 45-49-72.20 Special election. Whenever a vacancy occurs in any seat on the Mobile County Commission with 12 months or more remaining on the term of the vacant seat, the judge of probate shall immediately make provisions for a special election to fill the vacancy with the election to be held no sooner than 60 days and no later than 90 days after the seat has become vacant. (a) It shall be the duty of each wholesale dealer or jobber who sells, stores, or delivers cigarettes to retail sellers in this county to affix to each package of cigarettes sold or delivered in the county a stamp or stamps in the proper amounts as set forth in Section 45-27-247.02.
