Section 21-4-6 Review of architectural plans and specifications; reviewing authorities authorized to adopt additional rules and regulations. (a) The responsibility for reviewing architectural plans and specifications for buildings to which this article applies shall be as follows: (1) Where state school funds are utilized, the State Board of Education and the Division of Construction Management of the Department of Finance. (2) Where other state funds are utilized, the Division of Construction Management of the Department of Finance. (3) Where funds of counties, municipalities or other political subdivisions are utilized, the governing bodies thereof and the Division of Construction Management of the Department of Finance. (a) All covered property, unless otherwise provided in this section, shall be insured for no more than its replacement cost and shall be insured for no less than 80 percent of its actual cash value.
