Section 16-46B-5 Computer science education task force. (a) The Governor shall establish a computer science education task force to develop a state strategic plan for expanding computer science education in the public schools in Alabama. (b) The membership of the task force shall include all of the following: (1) One member of the House of Representatives, as appointed by the Speaker of the House, and one member of the Senate, as appointed by the President Pro Tempore of the Senate. (2) A representative of the board, as appointed by the board. (3) The state computer science specialist and two additional representatives of the department, as appointed by the superintendent. Section 34-24-193 Board of Physical Therapy - Powers and duties; certification fee; administrative fines; impaired practitioner program. (a) It shall be the duty of the board to pass upon the qualifications of applicants for licensing as physical therapists and licensing as physical therapist assistants, to conduct examinations, to issue licenses and renewals to physical therapists and physical therapist assistants qualifying under this article and in a proper case to suspend or revoke the license of such persons. Section 27-31A-3.1 Risk retention groups to comply with governance standards. (a) By January 1, 2016, existing risk retention groups shall be in compliance with the governance standards set forth in this section. New risk retention groups shall be in compliance with these standards at the time of licensure. (b) The board of directors or board, as used in this section, means the governing body of the risk retention group elected by the shareholders or members to establish policy, elect or appoint officers and committees, and make other governing decisions.
