Section 27-54-2 Definitions. For purposes of this chapter, the following terms have
the following meanings: (1) DAY TREATMENT SERVICES. Includes, but is not limited to: Physiological,
psychological, and psychosocial concepts, techniques, and processes necessary to maintain
or develop functional skills of clients, provided to individuals and groups for periods of
more than two hours but less than 24 hours a day. (2) HEALTH BENEFIT PLAN. A health care service
plan governed by the provisions of Article 6, Chapter 4, Title 10, and a group health insurance
policy, including an employee welfare health benefit plan, that covers hospital, medical,
or surgical expenses, issued by insurers, health maintenance organizations, preferred provider
organizations, medical service organizations, physician-hospital organizations, or any other
person, firm, corporation, joint venture, or other similar business entity that pays for,
purchases, or furnishes health care services to patients, insureds, or...

Section 34-24-193 Board of Physical Therapy - Powers and duties; certification fee;
administrative fines; impaired practitioner program. (a) It shall be the duty of the board
to pass upon the qualifications of applicants for licensing as physical therapists and licensing
as physical therapist assistants, to conduct examinations, to issue licenses and renewals
to physical therapists and physical therapist assistants qualifying under this article and
in a proper case to suspend or revoke the license of such persons. The board may adopt rules
and regulations not inconsistent with law as it may deem necessary for the performance of

Section 32-5-222 Requirements for child passenger restraints. (a) Every person transporting
a child in a motor vehicle operated on the roadways, streets, or highways of this state, shall
provide for the protection of the child by properly using an aftermarket or integrated child
passenger restraint system meeting applicable federal motor vehicle safety standards and the
requirements of subsection (b). This section shall not be interpreted to release in
part or in whole the responsibility of an automobile manufacturer to insure the safety of
children to a level at least equivalent to existing federal safety standards for adults. In
no event shall failure to wear a child passenger restraint system be considered as contributory

of the Alabama State Port Authority including but not limited to those employees who are employed

the procurement of professional services by any agency, department, board, bureau, commission,

household exemptions; state regulatory program. (a) Generally. (1) The county commission or
municipal governing body may, and is hereby authorized to, make available to the general public
