Section 45-44-231.41 Definitions. Certain terms, as used in this subpart, shall have the following meaning: (1) BOARD. The county rehabilitation board composed of the probate judge, the district attorney, the sheriff, the circuit judge, the superintendent of education, the head of the ministerial conference, the juvenile probation officer, the probation officer, the Chair of the Macon County Commission, the mayors of all towns and cities within Macon County, the president of each public school parent-teacher association, the president of the county civic association, a representative of the Southern Christian Leadership Conference, and a representative of the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People. Also, a social worker and a physician, preferably a psychologist or a psychiatrist, shall be appointed by the legislative delegation. A two-year college president under the jurisdiction of the Department of Postsecondary Education and the State Board of Education and the State Board of Medical Examiners may donate surplus personal property of the institution to a local city board of education or to a local county board of education for use by public high schools, public middle schools, and public elementary schools in the respective local public school system.
