Section 16-22-2 Police officers at state colleges and universities or Institute for Deaf and
Blind - Extension of jurisdiction. (a) Any police officer appointed pursuant to the provisions
of Section 16-47-10 or 16-22-1, is a peace officer whose authority extends to any place in
the state; provided, that the primary duty of any such police or peace officer shall be the
enforcement of the law on property owned or leased by the institution of higher education
employing said peace officers; provided further, that he shall not otherwise act as a peace
officer in enforcing the law except: (1) When in pursuit of any offender or suspected offender
who is charged with the commission of a crime while on the premises of said institution; or
(2) To make arrests otherwise lawfully for crimes committed, or for which there is probable

or enforcement of a registered support order or seeking to vacate the registration has the
burden of proving one or more of the following defenses: (1) the issuing tribunal lacked personal

Section 32-6-253.1 Removable windshield placard; unauthorized use of parking places. (a) Any
person who submits to the Department of Veterans Affairs an application which includes satisfactory
proof that he or she meets the military service and award requirements to be issued a license
plate authorized by Section 32-6-250, shall be issued a removable windshield placard displaying
the appropriate military honor or veteran status. The application shall be on a form approved
by the Department of Veterans Affairs. There shall be no fee for the removable windshield
placard. (b) The removable windshield placard shall be prepared by the Department of Veterans
Affairs in cooperation with the Department of Revenue. (c) The removable windshield placard

Section 32-9A-2 Compliance with Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations; in-service training
by law enforcement officers. (a)(1) Except as otherwise provided in subsection (b), no person

Section 45-39-201 Voiding of license when payment noncollectible. (a) This section shall apply
to Lauderdale County. (b) In cases where a personal check given for a license is found to
be noncollectible for any reason, the county license commissioner shall make a reasonable
attempt to retrieve the license in question. In the event that the license cannot be retrieved,
the license commissioner shall so state and that statement shall constitute authorization
to void any license in question. Once the license has been voided, the license commissioner
shall receive credit for the cost of the license plus the issuance fee. The appropriate state
