Section 34-24-162.1 Application; licensure by credentials. (a) Every person who desires to
practice chiropractic within the State of Alabama shall file an application prescribed by
the board. Notwithstanding the method of obtaining licensure or any particular requirement
set forth herein, every person as a prerequisite to licensure must be at least 21 years of
age, of good moral character, a citizen of the United States or, if not a citizen of the United
States a person who is legally present in the United States with appropriate documentation
from the federal government, a graduate of a chiropractic school or college accredited and
recognized by the board and must satisfy any other requirement set forth in any rule adopted

Section 34-24-505 Exemptions. (a) A physician who engages in the practice of medicine across
state lines in a medical emergency, as defined by the board, is not subject to the provisions
of this article. (b) A physician who engages in the practice of medicine or osteopathy across
state lines on an irregular or infrequent basis is not subject to the provisions of this article.

Section 34-30-27 Certain persons exempt from examination. (a) Individuals licensed under Section
34-30-23 or Section 34-30-24 shall be exempt from any examination provided for in Section
34-30-22, subdivision (3). (b) Any person who meets the following listed conditions shall

revenue trust fund in the State Treasury to be known as the Alabama State Board of Examiners

Section 34-24-529 Disciplinary actions. (a) Any disciplinary action taken by any member board
against a physician licensed through the compact shall be deemed unprofessional conduct which
may be subject to discipline by other member boards, in addition to any violation of the medical
practice act or regulations in that state. (b) If a license granted to a physician by the
member board in the state of principal license is revoked, surrendered, or relinquished in
lieu of discipline, or suspended, then all licenses issued to the physician by member boards
