Section 40-27-1 Compact adopted; terms. The following Multistate Tax Compact is hereby approved, adopted and enacted into law by the State of Alabama: Multistate Tax Compact Article I. Purposes. The purposes of this compact are to: 1. Facilitate proper determination of state and local tax liability of multistate taxpayers, including the equitable apportionment of tax bases and settlement of apportionment disputes. 2. Section 20-1-21 Purpose of division; standards; construction of chapter. (a) The purpose of this division is to prevent the manufacture, possession, sale, or delivery of out-of-date Class A foods and adulterated or misbranded food and drugs. (a) No physician-patient relationship is created between an employee or job applicant and an employer, medical review officer, or any person performing or evaluating a drug test solely by the establishment, implementation, or administration of a drug-testing program. (b) Nothing in this article shall be construed to prevent an employer from establishing reasonable work rules related to employee possession, use, sale, or solicitation of drugs, including convictions for drug related offenses, and taking action based upon a violation of any of those rules.
