Section 16-18A-2 Definitions. As used in this chapter, the following words and terms shall have the following meanings unless the context clearly indicates otherwise: (1) AUTHORITY. The Private Colleges and Universities Facilities Authority created by this chapter and any successor or successors thereto. Any change in name or composition of the authority shall in no way affect the vested rights of any person under the provisions of this chapter. (2) PROJECT. Section 23-1-271 Definitions. For the purposes of this division, unless otherwise indicated, the following terms shall have the meanings respectively ascribed to them by this section: (1) ADJACENT AREA. An area which is adjacent to and within 660 feet of the nearest edge of the right-of-way of any interstate or primary highway, which 660 feet distance shall be measured horizontally along a line normal or perpendicular to the centerline of the highway.
