Section 2-19-134 Subsequent referendums. (a) In the event any referendum conducted under this article fails to receive the required number of affirmative votes, the certified organization may, with the consent of the board be authorized to call other referendums. (b) After the passage of any referendum, the eligible voters shall be allowed, by subsequent referendums, at least every five years, to vote on whether to continue their assessments. (a) The association has a lien on a unit for any assessment and any other moneys due the association for special assessments or services or charges, such as water or repairs, levied against that unit or fines imposed against its unit owner from the time the assessment or fine becomes due. Any sheep or goat producer against whom any assessment is made and collected under authority of this article, if dissatisfied with the assessment, may demand and receive from the treasurer of the certified association a refund of the amount of the assessment collected from the sheep or goat producer.
