Section 2-8-358 Assessment moneys collected - Generally. The commissioner shall remit to the treasurer of the certified association, on a quarterly basis between the first and fifteenth day of January, April, July, and October of each year, all assessment moneys collected by the commissioner, less an amount not to exceed two percent of the total amount collected, which amount shall be deposited into the Agricultural Fund of the State Treasury. The assessment moneys remitted to the treasurer of the certified association shall be used and expended by the association for a promotional program in the manner provided by this article and the rules and regulations of the association.
