Section 8-8-5 Maximum rates of interest - Loans, credit sales, etc., of $2,000 or more to individuals,
corporations, trusts, partnerships, or associations. (a) Any person or persons, corporations,
trust, general partnership or partnerships, limited partnership or partnerships, or association
may agree to pay such rate or rates of interest for the loan or forbearance of money and for
any credit sales as such person, corporation, trust, general partnership, limited partnership,
or association may determine, notwithstanding any law of this state otherwise prescribing
or limiting such rate or rates of interest; provided, that the original principal balance
of the loan or forbearance of money or credit sales is not less than $2,000; provided further,
that all laws relating to unconscionability in consumer transactions including but not limited

Section 27-42-16 Credits for assessments paid; disposition of refunds previously offset. (a)
A member insurer may offset against its premium tax liability to this state an assessment
described in subdivision (3) of subsection (a) of Section 27-42-8 to the extent of 20 percent
of the amount of such assessment for each of the five calendar years following the year in
which such assessment was paid. In the event a member insurer should cease doing business,
all uncredited assessments may be credited against its premium tax liability for the year

Section 33-5-10 Certificates of registration and numbers generally - By whom issued; issuance;
fees; disposition of funds. (a) The Department of Conservation and Natural Resources will
issue annual certificates of registration directly and shall authorize all probate judges
in the state or any other official in the state who is presently authorized to issue automobile
license plates to issue annual certificates of registration and numbers in connection therewith.

Section 5-17-11 Election of officers; duties of officers and directors; compensation; liability.
