Section 11-51-90.2 Purchase of business license; classification of taxpayers; vehicle decals; determination of gross receipts; construction with other provisions. (a) Every taxpayer required to purchase a business license under this chapter shall: (1) Purchase a business license for each location at which it does business in the municipality, except as otherwise provided by the municipality. Section 40-17-335 Surety bond. (a) Upon approval of the application by the department, the applicant shall file with the department a surety bond as herein provided: (1) Except as provided under subdivision (3), the bond amount for an applicant for a license as a supplier, permissive supplier, or terminal operator shall be in the approximate amount of twice the average monthly tax liability, not to exceed two million dollars ($2,000,000). (a) No qualified organization shall be permitted to operate a bingo game unless the county governing body, or the governing bodies of the respective cities and towns, within their respective jurisdictions, issues a permit to the organization authorizing it to do so. The permit required by this article is in addition to, and not in lieu of, any other business license which may be required by law, and no bingo game shall be operated until all required licenses have been obtained.
