Section 33-5-31 Local regulation. (a) The provisions of this article and rules and regulations
promulgated pursuant thereto, and other general laws of this state shall govern the operation,
equipment, numbering and all other matters relating thereto whenever any vessel shall be operated
on the waters of this state, or when any activity regulated by this article shall take place
thereon, but nothing in this chapter shall be construed to prevent the adoption of any ordinance
or local law relating to operation of vessels the provisions of which are identical to the
provisions of this article, amendments thereto or regulations issued thereunder; provided,
that such ordinances or local laws shall be operative only so long as and to the extent that
they continue to be identical to provisions of this article, amendments thereto or regulations

(a) The State Board of Health may grant licenses for the operation of hospitals which are
found to comply with the provisions of this article and any regulations lawfully promulgated

weeds from seeds and small grains by commissioner. The Commissioner of Agriculture and Industries,

Section 23-1-390 Penalties for violation of this article. Except as herein otherwise provided,
any person subject to this article who fails to comply with the requirements of, or violates
this article, or of any of the rules, regulations, or orders issued pursuant thereto shall

Section 34-1A-5 Licenses - Issuance; fees; suspension or revocation; nonresident license; display;

by this chapter to all qualified individuals in accordance with rules or regulations established

(a) Any person, including a motor vehicle dealer, acquiring a new or used motor vehicle may
be granted a grace period of 20 calendar days from date of acquisition to procure a license
tag or plate. (b) Notwithstanding Section 32-6-65, a new or used motor vehicle dealer who
has a current regulatory license required under this article and a dealer license as required
by Section 40-12-51 or Section 40-12-169 may purchase dealer license plates from the department
upon presentation of the current licenses and payment of the fee for a private passenger automobile

corporation, association or other business unit which buys wheat, corn, grain sorghum, or
oats in Alabama from the producer thereof shall, in the event assessments are required to

The Commissioner of Conservation and Natural Resources may establish and promulgate reasonable
rules and regulations, not in conflict with the laws of this state, concerning operation of
