Section 2-11-9 Bonds of employees and inspectors. The commissioner may require any employee or agent and any inspector licensed under this article to execute and file with him a good and sufficient bond, payable to the state, in such sum, not exceeding $1,000.00, and with such surety or sureties as he may prescribe, conditioned upon the faithful performance by such employee, agent or licensed inspector of his duties as such employee, agent or licensed inspector, such bond to be filed in the office of the commissioner. Any person injured by the failure of such employee, agent or licensed inspector faithfully to perform such duties shall be entitled to institute a civil action on such bond in his own name in any court of competent jurisdiction for the recovery of such damages as he may have sustained by reason of such failure. Section 11-4-22 Bonds. Before entering on the duties of his office, the county treasurer must give bond as provided by law, which bond shall be in a sum not less than $15,000.00, and in counties where the population is over 150,000, it shall not be less than $50,000.00, such bond to be payable to the county and conditioned as prescribed by law and to be fixed and approved by the county commission. Section 32-7-26 Bond as proof of financial responsibility. (a) Proof of financial responsibility may be furnished by a bond of a surety company duly authorized to transact business in this state, or by a bond with at least two individual sureties each owning real estate within this state and together having equities equal in value to at least twice the amount of such bond, which real estate shall be scheduled in the bond and approved both as to title and value by the judge of probate of the county in which such real estate is located. Any person operating a livestock market in this state shall make and execute a bond in favor of the State of Alabama, which bond shall be made by a surety company qualified to do business in the State of Alabama and such bond shall be filed in the office of the commissioner. (a)(1) No person shall promote or hold a match, contest, or exhibition of professional boxing, professional bare knuckle boxing, tough man contests, professional wrestling, amateur mixed martial arts, or professional mixed martial arts within this state without first applying for and obtaining a promoter's license from the commission.
