Section 26-21-4 Procedure for waiver of consent requirement - Notice to parents or guardian prohibited; participation in proceedings; right to counsel; assistance in preparing petition; confidentiality; contents of petition; precedence of proceeding; rules of procedure; waiver of consent; guardian ad litem for interests of unborn child; findings and conclusions; appeal; no fees or costs; related criminal charges. (a) A minor who elects not to seek or does not or cannot for any reason, obtain consent from either of her parents or legal guardian, may petition, on her own behalf, the juvenile court, or the court of equal standing, in the county in which the minor resides or in the county in which the abortion is to be performed for a waiver of the consent requirement of this chapter. (a) The State Board of Chiropractic Examiners may refuse to grant a license or permit to any applicant who is not of good moral character and reputation or has a history of narcotic addiction or has previously been convicted of a felony or any crime of moral turpitude or has previously been diagnosed as having a psychopathic disorder. Section 34-39-6 Board of Occupational Therapy established; composition; fund created. (a) There is established the Alabama State Board of Occupational Therapy. (1) The board shall consist of five members, four of whom shall be involved in the practice of occupational therapy, of which one shall be an occupational therapy assistant. The remaining member shall be a member of another health profession or a member of the public with an interest in the rights or the concerns of health services.
