Section 8-20-4 Unfair and deceptive trade practices. Notwithstanding the terms, provisions,
or conditions of any dealer agreement or franchise or the terms or provisions of any waiver,

Section 7-7-308 Enforcement of carrier's lien. (a) A carrier's lien on goods may be enforced
by public or private sale of the goods, in bulk or in packages, at any time or place and on
any terms that are commercially reasonable, after notifying all persons known to claim an
interest in the goods. The notification must include a statement of the amount due, the nature
of the proposed sale, and the time and place of any public sale. The fact that a better price
could have been obtained by a sale at a different time or in a method different from that
selected by the carrier is not of itself sufficient to establish that the sale was not made

Section 40-17-350 Transportation of motor fuel; inspections. (a) Each person operating a refinery
or terminal in Alabama shall prepare and provide to the driver of every highway vehicle receiving
motor fuel at the facility a shipping document setting out on its face the destination state
as represented to the terminal operator by the shipper or the shipper's agent. Failure to
comply with this subsection may result in a department imposed penalty of not less than five
hundred dollars ($500) nor more than one thousand dollars ($1,000), to be multiplied by the
sum of the current violation plus prior violations of this subsection. (b) Every person transporting
motor fuel in Alabama in a highway vehicle other than in its supply tank shall carry on board

Section 20-2-190 Penalties; sale of ephedrine, etc.; Alabama Drug Abuse Task Force. (a) Any
person who manufactures, sells, transfers, receives, or possesses a listed precursor chemical
violates this article if the person: (1) Knowingly fails to comply with the reporting requirements
of this article; (2) Knowingly makes a false statement in a report or record required by this

Section 40-23-4 Exemptions. (a) There are exempted from the provisions of this division and
from the computation of the amount of the tax levied, assessed, or payable under this division
the following: (1) The gross proceeds of the sales of lubricating oil and gasoline as defined
in Sections 40-17-30 and 40-17-170 and the gross proceeds from those sales of lubricating
oil destined for out-of-state use which are transacted in a manner whereby an out-of-state

Section 37-3-26 Collection of rates and charges. No common carrier by motor vehicle shall deliver
or relinquish possession at destination of any freight transported by it in intrastate commerce
until all tariff rates and charges thereon have been paid, except under such rules and regulations
