Section 8-16-72 Rules and regulations for weighing agricultural commodities. The Commissioner of Agriculture and Industries, with the approval of the State Board of Agriculture and Industries, may adopt and promulgate reasonable rules and regulations to carry out the provisions of this division, to the end that persons, firms, corporations, or associations may be furnished with accurate weighing services by the Department of Agriculture and Industries where such services are required for the sale of agricultural commodities. Section 8-17-82 Labeling requirement. (a) Each person selling, offering for sale, storing or using in the state any petroleum product must label, or cause to be labeled, each tank car, tank, barrel, pump, or other container in which such petroleum product is contained or marketed with the words "guaranteed legal standards" and with an additional word or words denoting the precise character of the petroleum product in the container so labeled. Each word in such label shall be legibly printed in letters not less than one-half inch in height. (b) An alternate manner for container and other labeling information as required under subsection (a) of this section may be prescribed by the Board of Agriculture and Industries pursuant to rules and regulations which shall be consistent with the evident intent and purposes of this section. Section 11-3-11.3 Collection of local taxes - Department of Revenue. (a) Counties may, upon request of the county commission, engage the Department of Revenue to collect and administer any county sales, use, rental, lodgings, tobacco, or other local taxes for which there is a corresponding state levy. Subject to subsections (d) and (e) below, the department shall collect and administer a county sales, use, rental, lodgings, tobacco, or other tax for which there is a corresponding state levy on behalf of the requesting county. Section 11-6-2 Qualifications. The person appointed as county engineer, or chief engineer of the division of public roads within the meaning of this article, shall be a registered professional engineer in the State of Alabama in good standing and, in addition, he shall have had not less than three years' experience in the maintenance and construction of highways and bridges. Section 34-21-2 Board of Nursing generally. (a) There is created the Board of Nursing, which shall be composed of 13 members to be appointed and have the duties and powers enumerated in this section. The membership of the board shall be inclusive and reflect the racial, gender, geographic, urban/rural, and economic diversity of the state.
