Section 2-16-42 Administration and enforcement of division generally; quarantining of
poultry and eggs produced on premises not equipped with prescribed disposal facilities; right
of entry and inspection of State Veterinarian, etc. (a) This division shall be administered

Section 2-16-21 Adoption, conduct, etc., of program for prevention, eradication and
control of infectious and contagious poultry diseases; cooperation by department, etc., with
other state and federal agencies. The Commissioner of Agriculture and Industries, with the

Section 22-27-2 Definitions. For the purpose of this article, the following terms shall

Section 40-23-4 Exemptions. (a) There are exempted from the provisions of this division
and from the computation of the amount of the tax levied, assessed, or payable under this
division the following: (1) The gross proceeds of the sales of lubricating oil and gasoline
as defined in Sections 40-17-30 and 40-17-170 and the gross proceeds from those sales of lubricating
oil destined for out-of-state use which are transacted in a manner whereby an out-of-state
purchaser takes delivery of such oil at a distributor's plant within this state and transports

Section 25-4-10 Employment. (a) Subject to other provisions of this chapter, "employment"

Section 2-16-20 Establishment, conduct, and maintenance of poultry disease diagnostic
laboratories. (a) The Commissioner of Agriculture and Industries, with approval of the State
Board of Agriculture and Industries, may establish, conduct, and maintain poultry disease
diagnostic laboratories for the purpose of diagnosing, treating, eradicating, preventing,
and controlling infectious and contagious diseases of poultry. The laboratories provided for
in this section shall be located at places in the State of Alabama where they will
best serve the farmers engaged in the production of poultry, and such locations shall be selected
