Section 2-15-290 When tick eradication to be commenced within county; expenditures by county upon commencement of tick eradication by state board; county commissions to make appropriations for tick eradication. The work of tick eradication shall be taken up in all counties that shall be at any time partially or completely tick infested under the rules and regulations of the State Board of Agriculture and Industries. Where the State Board of Agriculture and Industries has begun the work of tick eradication in any county or in part of any county, the county shall not have authority to make any expenditure, except for preferred claims enumerated by the statutes, until provision has been made for financing the county's part of such work.
