Section 2-15-195 Expenditure of general appropriations for conduct of disease control program and indemnification of owners of cattle condemned, slaughtered or destroyed. Funds appropriated under the provisions of the general appropriations act for brucellosis or Bang's disease control and eradication work or any other funds that may be available for this purpose may be used and expended to carry out any brucellosis disease eradication and control program that may be established as authorized under this article, and such funds to the extent authorized by the State Board of Agriculture and Industries may also be used for payments to indemnify owners of cattle which have been condemned, slaughtered or destroyed after it is determined that such action must be taken when the cattle are found to have tuberculosis, paratuberculosis or brucellosis.
