Section 25-11-3 Definitions. When used in this chapter, the following words and phrases shall have the following meanings: (1) CLAIM INFORMATION. Data related to whether an individual is receiving, has received, or has made application for unemployment compensation, the amount of such compensation being received or to be received by the individual, and the individual's current or most recent home address. (2) COMMISSIONER. The Commissioner of the State of Alabama, Department of Human Resources. (3) CUSTODIAN OF RECORDS. The person within the Department of Labor authorized to maintain the data collected under this chapter, including, but not limited to, all employment hiring data entered into the State Directory of New Hires, wage information, and unemployment claim and compensation information. Section 40-2A-3 Definitions. For the purposes of this chapter and Chapter 2B, the following terms shall have the following meanings: (1) ASSOCIATE ALABAMA TAX TRIBUNAL JUDGE. Section 11-65-10 Powers and duties of commission. Section 40-23-4 Exemptions. (a) There are exempted from the provisions of this division and from the computation of the amount of the tax levied, assessed, or payable under this division the following: (1) The gross proceeds of the sales of lubricating oil and gasoline as defined in Sections 40-17-30 and 40-17-170 and the gross proceeds from those sales of lubricating oil destined for out-of-state use which are transacted in a manner whereby an out-of-state purchaser takes delivery of such oil at a distributor's plant within this state and transports it out-of-state, which are otherwise taxed. Any other provision of law notwithstanding, the procurement of professional services by any agency, department, board, bureau, commission, authority, public corporation, or instrumentality of the State of Alabama shall be conducted through the following selection process: (1)a.
