Section 32-8-2 Definitions. For the purpose of this chapter, the following terms shall have
the meanings respectively ascribed to them in this section, except where the context clearly
indicates a different meaning: (1) CURRENT ADDRESS. A new address different from the address
shown on the application or on the certificate of title. The owner, within 30 days after the
address is changed from that shown on the application or on the certificate of title, shall
notify the department of the change of address in the manner prescribed by the department.
(2) DEALER. A person licensed as an automobile or motor vehicle dealer, or travel trailer
dealer and engaged regularly in the business of buying, selling, or exchanging motor vehicles,

Section 32-8-31 Exemptions. No certificate of title shall be issued under this chapter for
any of the following: (1) A vehicle owned by the United States or any agency thereof. (2)
A vehicle owned by a manufacturer or dealer and held for sale, even though incidentally moved
on the highway or used for purposes of testing or demonstration, or a vehicle used by a manufacturer

Section 13A-11-75 Permit to carry pistol in vehicle or concealed on person - Issuance; fee;
revocation; release of information. (a)(1)a. The sheriff of a county, upon the application
of any person residing in that county, within 30 days from receipt of a complete application
and accompanying fee, shall issue or renew a permit for such person to carry a pistol in a
vehicle or concealed on or about his or her person within this state for one- to five-year
increments, as requested by the person seeking the permit, from date of issue, unless the
sheriff determines that the person is prohibited from the possession of a pistol or firearm
pursuant to state or federal law, or has a reasonable suspicion that the person may use a
weapon unlawfully or in such other manner that would endanger the person's self or others.

Section 2-19-63 Enforcement of rules and regulations, etc.; denial or revocation of permits.
(a) It shall be the duty of the commissioner to enforce the requirements of law relative to
cotton gins and to see that all rules and regulations relative to cotton gins that may be
established from time to time by him and approved by the State Board of Agriculture and Industries
are observed. (b) The said commissioner shall have power to refuse to issue a permit and to
revoke at any time the permit that has been issued to any cotton ginner who fails or refuses

Section 2-31-4 Surety bond; requirements; waiver of bond requirements. Every person licensed
as a grain dealer shall have filed with the department a surety bond for each separate location
signed by the dealer as principal and by a responsible company authorized to execute surety
bonds within the State of Alabama. Such bond shall be in the principal amount to the nearest
$1,000.00 equal to ten percent of the aggregate dollar amount paid by the dealer to producers
for grain purchased from them during the 12 month period ending no more than 30 days prior
to the time the dealer files to be licensed under this article. Persons who have been in the
business of a grain dealer for less than one year are required to only meet minimum bond requirements

for financing the cost of public buildings, the Limestone County Commission is hereby authorized
by resolution to levy and provide for the assessment and collection of sales and use taxes,
