Section 2-11-5 Federal standards may be adopted; cooperation with federal government. The commissioner, with the advice and counsel of the State Board of Agriculture and Industries, is authorized to fix and promulgate as the official standards for this state for any agricultural product the standard for such product promulgated or announced therefor under the authority of the Congress of the United States, and in carrying out the provisions of this article the said commissioner is authorized to cooperate with the United States or any department thereof in accomplishing the matters and things provided for herein. Section 2-5A-1 Establishment; powers and duties. (a) The Farmers' Market Authority is established in the Department of Agriculture and Industries. Section 9-12-54 Payment of taxes. All taxes mentioned in this article shall be paid by the persons, firms or corporations, commonly known as dealers, factories or shippers, first marketing the oysters, shrimp, terrapins, turtles or other seafood products, and any person who has purchased same from a dealer, factory, shipper or any other person who has paid the tax thereon shall not be taxed again.
