Section 41-23-160 Certified domestic violence center capital improvement grant program. (a) For the purposes of this article, the following terms shall have the following meanings: (1) ACADV. The Alabama Coalition Against Domestic Violence. (2) DIRECTOR. The Director of the Department of Economic and Community Affairs. (3) OTHER QUALIFIED ENTITY. An entity designated by the director to fulfill the duties of the ACADV in the event the ACADV ceases operations or is otherwise ineligible to receive federal funds for domestic violence programs in this state. (b) There is established a certified domestic violence center capital improvement grant program under the Department of Economic and Community Affairs. (c) A certified domestic violence center, as provided for in Section 30-6-6, may apply to the director, or his or her designee, for a capital improvement grant. Section 45-12-241.01 Privilege license tax for mandatory solid waste disposal program. (a) This section shall only apply to Choctaw County. (b) As used in this section, state sales and use tax means the tax imposed by the state sales and use tax statutes, including, but not limited to, Sections 40-23-1, 40-23-2, 40-23-3, 40-23-4, 40-23-60, 40-23-61, 40-23-62, and 40-23-63 of the Code of Alabama 1975. (c) The County Commission of Choctaw County may levy, in addition to all other taxes, a privilege license tax against gross sales in an amount up to two cents which shall be exclusively for the operational fund of the county mandatory solid waste disposal program. Section 22-30D-5 Alabama Drycleaning Environmental Response Trust Fund. (a) There is hereby created the Alabama Drycleaning Environmental Response Trust Fund, hereinafter referred to as the "fund." The fund as so created shall be administered and used by the board as a drycleaning industry self-insurance program for the benefit of those persons electing to be covered by this chapter within the time(s) specified in accordance with the provision of this chapter and as a revolving fund for carrying out the purposes of this chapter.
