Section 28-9-2 Definitions. (a) The following words or phrases, or the plural thereof, whenever
they appear in this chapter, unless the context clearly requires otherwise, shall have the
meanings ascribed to them in this section: (1) AGREEMENT. Any agreement between a wholesaler
and a supplier, whether oral or written, whereby a wholesaler is granted the right to purchase
and sell a brand or brands of beer sold by a supplier. (2) ANCILLARY BUSINESS. A business
owned by a wholesaler, by a substantial stockholder of a wholesaler, or by a substantial partner

Section 40-18-86 Sale or transfer of real property and associated tangible property by nonresidents.
(a) As used in this section, the term nonresident of Alabama shall include individuals, trusts,
partnerships, corporations, and unincorporated organizations. Any seller or transferor who
meets all of the following conditions and who provides the buyer or transferee with an affidavit
signed under oath swearing or affirming that all of the following conditions are met will
be deemed a resident for purposes of this section: (1) The seller or transferor has filed

Section 11-50A-1 Definitions. As used in this chapter, the following words shall have the following
meanings unless the context clearly indicates otherwise: (1) AUTHORITY. Alabama Municipal

for Purpose Other Than Eligible Costs. Except as otherwise provided in this section, if the
account holder withdraws any funds from a first-time and second chance home buyer savings
account for a purpose other than eligible costs for the purchase of a single-family residence
in this state, the following shall apply: (1) The entire balance of the fund, including interest
and other income on principal, shall be included in the account holder's taxable income for
the tax year in which the withdrawal was made. (2) The account holder shall pay a penalty
to the Department of Revenue equal to 10 percent of the amount withdrawn. The penalty shall
