Section 33-1-8 Board of directors. (a)(1) The port authority shall be governed by a board of
directors, consisting of eight appointed members and one ex officio member. a. The Governor
shall appoint eight members subject to confirmation by the Senate as follows: b. Two members

Section 40-23-4 Exemptions. (a) There are exempted from the provisions of this division and
from the computation of the amount of the tax levied, assessed, or payable under this division
the following: (1) The gross proceeds of the sales of lubricating oil and gasoline as defined
in Sections 40-17-30 and 40-17-170 and the gross proceeds from those sales of lubricating
oil destined for out-of-state use which are transacted in a manner whereby an out-of-state
purchaser takes delivery of such oil at a distributor's plant within this state and transports
it out-of-state, which are otherwise taxed. (2) The gross proceeds of the sale, or sales,
of fertilizer when used for agricultural purposes. The word "fertilizer" shall not
be construed to include cottonseed meal, when not in combination with other materials. (3)

Section 34-14-9 Complaint and hearing; appeal; disciplinary actions. (a) Any person wishing
to make a complaint against a licensee or apprentice under this chapter shall reduce the same
to writing and file his or her complaint with the board within one year from the date of the
action upon which the complaint is based. If the board investigates and determines the charges
made in the complaint are sufficient to warrant a hearing to determine whether the license
issued under this chapter shall be suspended or revoked, it shall make an order fixing a time

Section 8-7A-2 Definitions. For purposes of this chapter, the following terms shall have the

Section 7-3-308 Proof of signatures and status as holder in due course. (a) In an action with
respect to an instrument, the authenticity of, and authority to make, each signature on the
instrument is admitted unless specifically denied in the pleadings. If the validity of a signature

Section 19-1A-2 (Effective January 1, 2018) Definitions. In this chapter, the following terms
