Section 26-1A-208 Banks and other financial institutions. Unless the power of attorney otherwise
provides, language in a power of attorney granting general authority with respect to banks
and other financial institutions authorizes the agent to: (1) continue, modify, and terminate
an account or other banking arrangement made by or on behalf of the principal; (2) establish,
modify, and terminate an account or other banking arrangement with a bank, trust company,
savings and loan association, credit union, thrift company, brokerage firm, or other financial
institution selected by the agent; (3) contract for services available from a financial institution,

Section 27-1-2 Definitions. For the purposes of this title, the following terms shall have
the meanings respectively ascribed to them by this section. (1) INSURANCE. A contract whereby
one undertakes to indemnify another or pay or provide a specified amount or benefit upon determinable
contingencies. (2) INSURER. Every person engaged as indemnitor, surety, or contractor in the
business of entering into contracts of insurance. (3) PERSON. An individual, insurer, company,
association, organization, Lloyd's insurer, society, reciprocal insurer or interinsurance

Section 41-10-750 Legislative Findings and Purpose. (a) The Legislature finds and declares
the following: (1) In recent years, withdrawals have been made from the Alabama Trust Fund
and the General Fund Rainy Day Account of the Alabama Trust Fund for current budgetary purposes.

Section 13A-6-162 THIS SECTION WAS ASSIGNED BY THE CODE COMMISSIONER IN THE 2018 REGULAR SESSION,

or other legal entity who engages in any act or practice that violates this article is liable
for a civil penalty of up to fifty thousand dollars ($50,000) for each violation. (b) Any
person, corporation, or other legal entity who violates the terms of an injunction or order
issued under this article shall forfeit and pay a civil penalty of not more than seventy-five
thousand dollars ($75,000) per violation and shall be adjudged in contempt. For the purpose
of this section, any court issuing an injunction or order under this article shall retain
jurisdiction, and in such cases the Attorney General may petition for recovery of civil penalties.

a tracking device. The term tracking device means an electronic or mechanical device which
