Section 11-65-5 Composition of commission; terms; qualifications; removal from office. (a)
Every commission shall have five members, which shall constitute its governing body. All powers
of a commission shall be exercised by its members or pursuant to their authorization. The
mayor or other chief executive officer of the sponsoring municipality and the president or
other designated presiding officer of the county commission of the host county shall each
serve as a member ex officio, unless such official exercises his or her right, as provided
in subsection (b), to appoint a fixed-term member to serve in lieu of such official. The service
of each such official as a member shall begin with the beginning of his or her tenure in such
office and shall end with the ending of such tenure or the appointment by such official of

Section 19-3B-505 Creditor's claim against settlor. (a) Whether or not the terms of a trust
contain a spendthrift provision, the following rules apply: (1) During the lifetime of the
settlor, the property of a revocable trust is subject to claims of the settlor's creditors.
(2) With respect to an irrevocable trust, a creditor or assignee of the settlor may reach
the maximum amount that can be distributed to or for the settlor's benefit. If a trust has
more than one settlor, then the amount the creditor or assignee of a particular settlor may
reach may not exceed the settlor's interest in the portion of the trust attributable to that

Section 43-8-7 Effect of acts by holder of general power of appointment, etc., on beneficiaries.
For the purpose of granting consent or approval with regard to the acts or accounts of a personal
representative or trustee, including relief from liability or penalty for failure to post
