Section 45-8-241.60 Definitions. The following words, terms, and phrases, when used in this subpart shall have the meanings ascribed to them in this section, except where the context clearly indicates a different meaning: (1) PERSON. Any natural person, firm, partnership, association, corporation, receiver, trust, estate, or other entity, or any other group or combination of any thereof acting as a unit. (2) LICENSE COMMISSIONER. Section 8-9A-8 Defenses, liability, and protection of transferee. (a) A transfer is not voidable under Section 8-9A-4(a) against a person who took in good faith and for a reasonably equivalent value or against any subsequent transferee or obligee who took in good faith. The recovery of damages under any judgment against a governmental entity shall be limited to $100,000.00 for bodily injury or death for one person in any single occurrence. Section 19-3B-503 Exceptions to spendthrift provision. (a) In this section, "child" includes any person for whom an order or judgment for child support has been entered in this or another state.
