Section 11-19-22 Penalties for violations of provisions of chapter, ordinances, etc.
Any person, firm, corporation or agency who, in violation of this chapter, fails to obtain
the permit required herein or who violates any provision of the building code or zoning ordinances
or other regulation, ordinance, or code shall be guilty of a misdemeanor and, upon conviction,
may be fined not more than $500.00, or may be imprisoned in the county jail for not more than

Section 34-14A-14 Violations; complaint procedures. (a) Any person who undertakes or
attempts to undertake the business of residential home building without holding a current
and valid residential home builders license, issued by the Home Builders Licensure Board,
as required by this chapter, or who knowingly presents to, or files false information with
the board for the purpose of obtaining the license or who violates any law or code adopted

Section 22-22-14 Criminal penalty for violation of chapter, etc. (a) Any person who
willfully or with gross negligence violates any provision of the chapter, or rule, regulation
or standard adopted under this chapter, or any condition or limitation in a permit issued
under this chapter shall be punished by a fine of not less than $2,500.00 nor more than $25,000.00

Section 34-14B-9 Failure to be licensed; presentation or filing of false information.
(a) Any person who undertakes or attempts to undertake the business of home inspection without
first having been licensed as required by this chapter, or who knowingly presents or files
false information with the Building Commission for the purpose of licensure as a home inspector

Section 34-9-5 Penalties. Any person who shall engage in the practice of dentistry across
state lines or practice dentistry or dental hygiene in this state within the meaning of this
chapter without having first obtained from the board a license and an annual registration
