Section 8-26B-2 Definitions. In this chapter: (1) "Agency contract" means an agreement in which a student athlete authorizes a person to negotiate or solicit on behalf of the athlete a professional-sports-services contract or endorsement contract. (2) "Athlete agent": (A) means an individual, whether or not registered under this chapter, who: (i) directly or indirectly recruits or solicits a student athlete to enter into an agency contract or, for compensation, procures employment or offers, promises, attempts, or negotiates to obtain employment for a student athlete as a professional athlete or member of a professional sports team or organization; (ii) for compensation or in anticipation of compensation related to a student athlete's participation in athletics: (I) serves the athlete in an advisory capacity on a matter related to finances, business pursuits, or career management decisions, unless the individual is an employee of an educational institution acting exclusively as an...

Section 11-32-9 Bonds - Form and execution; sale; obligations; notice. (a) All bonds issued by the authority shall be signed by the chair, vice chair, or executive director and attested by its secretary or assistant secretary, and the seal of the authority shall be affixed thereto except that a facsimile of the signature of the officers may be printed or otherwise reproduced on any of the bonds in lieu of being manually subscribed on the bonds, a facsimile of the seal of the authority may be printed or otherwise produced on the bonds in lieu of being manually affixed thereto, if the bonds have been manually authenticated by a transfer agent of the bond issue. Section 11-47-25 Acceptance of credit card payments in Class 1 municipalities. (a) This section shall apply only in a Class 1 municipality. Section 14-12-2 Determination of professional units and operating expenses to be provided, qualifications and salaries of teachers and minimum number of hours of weekly student attendance. (a) A formula for the determination of professional units and other operating expenses, based upon eligible students, shall be developed by the State Department of Education. An eligible student under this subsection shall be a person who has not graduated from an accredited high school and who is able to benefit from the instructional programs offered.
