Section 17-10-21 Preparation of absentee ballot of comatose person prohibited; penalty. THIS
SECTION WAS AMENDED AND RENUMBERED AS SECTION 17-17-26 BY ACT 2006-570 IN THE 2006 REGULAR
SESSION, EFFECTIVE JANUARY 1, 2007. No person shall knowingly and willfully prepare or assist
in preparing the absentee ballot of a person who is comatose or who otherwise cannot communicate
his or her voting preferences for an absentee ballot, and, upon conviction of a violation

Section 17-13-8.1 Instant runoff primary elections in certain situations. (a) Notwithstanding
the provisions of Section 17-6-23 and Section 17-13-18, in a primary election or second primary
election, this section shall apply only to voters who are voting by absentee ballot pursuant

Section 17-2-4 Voting system requirements; vote standards; uniform polling system; purchase
of equipment. (a) On or before January 1, 2005, each voting system used in an election shall
meet the following requirements: (1) The voting system shall: a. Permit the voter to verify,
