Section 17-12-25 Notice of failure to make return. Whenever the return of any officer, required
to be made to the Secretary of State or to the Speaker of the House of Representatives, is
not received within the time prescribed, the Secretary of State or Speaker of the House of
Representatives must give notice thereof to the district attorney of the proper circuit and

Section 17-12-24 Penalty for failure to make returns. If any officer required to make returns

fails to make such returns within the time prescribed, he or she forfeits to the state five
hundred dollars ($500), recoverable by motion to be made by the district attorney of the proper

the Historic Tax Credit Evaluating Committee, which shall review qualifying projects, approve
credits for projects, and rank projects in the order in which the projects should receive
