Section 29-2-4 Reporting requirements; powers and duties. (a) On or before January 31 of each
year, any county or city required to report local motor fuel excise tax rate information to
the Department of Revenue pursuant to Act 1998-192 shall provide a similar report to the transportation
department regarding the total amount of local motor fuel excise tax revenues collected by
the county or city for the immediately preceding fiscal year and the total amount of the revenues
expended on road and bridge maintenance and improvement during that same fiscal year. The
transportation department shall collect the information and deliver a report to the Joint
Transportation Committee on or before March 31 of each year. (b) The powers and duties of

Section 32-12A-3 Application for registration; fees; registered agents. (a) An application
for registration or continued registration shall be made to the Secretary of the Alabama State
Law Enforcement Agency or an authorized agent of the agency in a form prescribed by the secretary.
The form shall state the name and address of every owner of the vehicle. (b) A person who
purchases an all-terrain vehicle or recreational off-highway vehicle from a retail dealer
shall make application for registration to the dealer at the point of sale. The dealer shall
submit the completed registration application and fees to the secretary at least once each
month. The dealer may deduct a fee of two dollars fifty cents ($2.50) for each registration.
(c) Upon receipt of the application and the appropriate fee, the secretary or agent shall

thereafter: (1) All physicians providing pain management services shall obtain a pain management

Section 45-8-241.01 License requirements for door-to-door sales. (a) All persons engaged in
the business of selling products door-to-door for profit shall have a state transient business
license and a county business license issued by the commissioner of licenses as provided in
Section 45-8-241, and shall pay any license or privilege fee and any issuance fee required
therein. (b) The person or business shall apply for application to the commissioner of licenses
on forms provided by the commissioner. The application form shall require the applicant to
fully describe the nature of the business and type of products or services to be sold. (c)

Section 11-46-7 Polling places for municipal elections in Class 1 municipalities. (a) Notwithstanding
any provision of law to the contrary, except for those citizens of Birmingham that reside
in Shelby County and those citizens of Birmingham that vote in the general election outside
the Birmingham city limits, the polling places for municipal elections in any Class 1 municipality
shall be the same as the polling places for general elections. (b) The polling places in which

Section 17-8-1 Appointment of election officials; duties. (a) The appointing board, or a majority
of them acting as an appointing board, not more than 20 nor less than 15 days before the holding

Section 22-27-47 Local plans required. (a) Each county and any municipality as described below
shall submit to the department, within one and one-half years of May 16, 1989, a plan for
the management of solid waste generated within its boundaries. A county's plan shall include
the municipal jurisdictions within its boundaries except that any municipality may choose
to submit its own solid waste management plan intended for implementation within its city
limits and thereby be excluded from its county plan. Cities which do not choose to exclude
themselves from their county's plan shall be responsible to share in the county's costs proportionately

Section 41-15B-2.2 Allocation of trust fund revenues. (a) For each fiscal year, beginning October
1, 1999, contingent upon the Children First Trust Fund receiving tobacco revenues and upon
