Section 16-51-7 Board of trustees - Transfer of jurisdiction. After September 9, 1967, the board of trustees created by this chapter for the University of North Alabama shall have exclusive jurisdiction, supervision and control of the University of North Alabama; and the State Board of Education is thereafter divested of all jurisdiction, power and authority with regard to the supervision, management and control of such university except as otherwise herein provided. To the extent that this chapter specifically conflicts with other laws pertaining to criminal history background information checks, this chapter shall take precedence.
