Section 16-5-30 Committee established to improve postsecondary education participation; membership. The Alabama Commission on Higher Education shall establish a statewide steering committee to improve participation in two-year and four-year postsecondary education. The commission shall appoint the members of the steering committee. The committee shall be composed of representatives of each of the following groups: (1) Two-year postsecondary institutions. (2) Four-year postsecondary institutions. (3) The State Parent-Teacher Association. (4) The organization that represents the majority of education employees in the state. (a) The board may enter into a reciprocal agreement with any state, agency, or other organization that licenses, certifies, or registers professional interpreters or transliterators, or both, if the board finds that the state, agency, or organization has substantially the same requirements or more stringent requirements. The agreement on detainers is hereby enacted into law and entered into by the State of Alabama with any and all jurisdictions legally joining therein, in the form substantially as follows: AGREEMENT ON DETAINERS The contracting states solemnly agree that: Article I.
