Section 41-14A-2 Definitions. As used in this chapter, the following words and terms shall have the following meanings: (1) AVERAGE MONTHLY BALANCE OF PUBLIC DEPOSITS. The sum of the average daily balances of public deposits, meaning the net average daily balances of public deposits determined without any deduction for deposit insurance, for the reported month and the 11 months preceding that month, divided by 12. (2) BOARD OF DIRECTORS or BOARD. The Board of Directors of the SAFE Program established under Section 41-14A-6. The board of directors shall consist of eight members. (3) COLLATERAL-PLEDGING LEVEL or COLLATERAL-PLEDGING REQUIREMENT. The percentage or percentages of collateral, in relation to one or more levels of public deposits held, required to be pledged by a qualified public depository as determined in accordance with the provisions of this chapter or rules or orders of the board adopted pursuant to this chapter. Section 41-29-335 Alabama Apprenticeship Council. (a) The Alabama Apprenticeship Council, which shall be composed of public and private persons representing employer and employee organizations that are familiar with apprenticeable occupations, is established. Section 45-45-82 Child protection board and fund. (a) In order to provide for the protection and welfare of children in Madison County who are alleged to be or have been found by the juvenile court of the county to be abused or neglected or otherwise dependent as defined by Section 12-15-102, there is levied and imposed a court cost of four dollars ($4), in all cases filed in the district court of the county, which shall be in addition to all other costs previously imposed. Section 22-22A-12 Coastal Resources Advisory Committee; composition; terms; chairman; meetings. (a) There is hereby created a Coastal Resources Advisory Committee to advise the department and the Office of State Planning and Federal Programs on all matters concerning the coastal area. Section 34-8A-4 Board of Examiners in Counseling - Creation; membership; Sunset provision. (a) There is created an Alabama Board of Examiners in Counseling, to consist of seven members who shall be citizens of this state and appointed by the Governor pursuant to the requirements of this section.
