Section 16-60-31 Treasurer - Election; duties; term of office; compensation; bond. The board of trustees shall also elect a treasurer for the college who shall not be a trustee. The treasurer shall receive, hold and pay out all moneys belonging to the college, or that may be paid in for the necessary expenses of any student in the college or for the use and benefit of any such student. The treasurer shall hold office for the term and receive the compensation fixed for such office by the board of trustees.
