Section 16-22-12 Cost-of-living adjustment for public education employees; miscellaneous pay provisions. (a) The State Budget Officer shall allocate to the State Board of Education, the Board of Trustees of the Alabama Institute for Deaf and Blind, the Board of Youth Services Department District, the Alabama School of Fine Arts, and the Alabama High School of Mathematics and Science, for disbursement to the employees thereof funds based on the following criteria. It is not the intent of the Legislature to make an appropriation in this section. (1) CERTIFICATED PERSONNEL (K-12). Section 45-25-92.30 Jackson/DeKalb Counties Industrial Development Authority. (a) There is established the Jackson/DeKalb Counties Industrial Development Authority. The purpose of the authority shall be to market and develop the Northeast Alabama Technology Park on the Campbell site near the Northeast Alabama Community College and other sites that may be suitable for economic development in the future in the vicinity of the college. (a) The Alabama Credit Union Administration shall be in the charge of the administrator who shall be the chief executive officer of the administration. (a) Subject to the provisions of Chapter 23 of this title, the State Board of Education, through its executive officer, shall prescribe rules and regulations governing the training and the certification of teachers in the public schools of the state, and for the acceptance of the diplomas of the colleges and universities of Alabama, as well as of other states.
