Section 16-56-3 Board of trustees - Membership; appointment; terms. Troy University shall be governed by a board of trustees. The board of trustees shall have representation from seven geographic areas of the state. Area one shall consist of the following counties: Mobile, Baldwin, Washington, Clarke, Choctaw, Marengo, and Sumter.
