Section 10A-2A-8.22 Notice of meeting. (a) Unless the certificate of incorporation or bylaws
provide otherwise, regular meetings of the board of directors may be held without notice of
the date, time, place, or purpose of the meeting. (b) Unless the certificate of incorporation
or bylaws provide for a longer or shorter period, special meetings of the board of directors
shall be preceded by at least two days' notice of the date, time, and place of the meeting.

Section 37-6-7 Articles of incorporation - Amendment. A cooperative may amend its articles
of incorporation by complying with the following requirements: The proposed amendment shall
be first approved by the board of trustees and shall then be submitted to a vote of the members
at any annual or special meeting thereof, the notice of which shall set forth the proposed
amendment. The proposed amendment, with such changes as the members shall choose to make therein,
shall be deemed to be approved on the affirmative vote of not less than two thirds of those

Section 45-17A-83.03 Meetings of the board. The board shall hold a regular monthly meeting
on the second Monday of each month, or such other day of the month as subsequently determined

Section 11-43-50 Proceedings - Regular and special meetings; cancelling and rescheduling meetings.
(a) There shall be at least two regular meetings of the council in each month, except that
in towns, as defined in Section 11-40-6, there shall be at least one regular meeting of the
council in each month; but provided, however, the council of any town may, by ordinance, mandate
at least two regular meetings of the council in each month, and the presiding officer shall
call special meetings whenever in his or her opinion the public interest may require it and
whenever two council members or the mayor request the presiding officer in writing to call

Section 29-6-2 Composition. (a) The President of the Senate shall be a member of the Legislative
Council but may vote on issues before the Legislative Council only in the case of a tie. At
its first meeting during each quadrennium and at such other times as necessary, the Legislative
Council shall elect a chair and vice chair from among the membership of the council. The position
