Section 21-7-3 Right to full use of streets, sidewalks, public buildings, public facilities, etc. (a) An individual with a disability is entitled to full and equal accommodations, advantages, facilities, and privileges in every public accommodation. (b) A public accommodation shall modify its policies, practices, and procedures to permit the use of a service animal by an individual with a disability. (c) This chapter does not require a person, firm, business, or corporation, or an agent thereof, to modify or provide a vehicle, premises, facility, or service to a higher degree of accommodation than is required for an individual who is not disabled. The Department of Human Resources shall adopt guidelines and criteria relating to the operations and functions of the team as promulgated by the advisory committee created pursuant to Section 26-16-52.
