Section 34-29-66 President and vice-president; bylaws; meetings; quorum; records. (a) The board shall elect from its members a president and vice-president, each of whom shall serve a term of one year. (b) The board shall do all of the following: (1) Adopt rules and regulations to be compiled as an administrative code. (2) Name a definite time and place for meetings. (3) Have at least two business meetings each year called by the president, which shall be in addition to meetings for the conduct of examinations. (4) Give notice in writing at least 10 days prior to the date on which the two annual business meetings are held to Alabama licensed veterinarians. Section 34-32-7 Soil and Water Conservation Committee to serve as state board; appointment of advisory council; duties, organization, etc. (a) The Alabama Soil and Water Conservation Committee shall serve as and be the State Board of Registration for Professional Soil Classifiers, and it shall be the duty of such board to administer the provisions of this chapter.
