Section 35-2-26 Advisory board - Terms of members; filling of vacancies. Of the five members
first appointed to the division of land surveys advisory board, one shall be appointed for
a term of one year, one for two years, one for three years, and two for four years. At the
expiration of the term of each member, the Governor shall appoint a successor, who shall hold
office for a term of four years and until his successor has been appointed and qualified.
Vacancies in the office of the members of the advisory board shall be filled by appointment

Section 34-21-2 Board of Nursing generally. (a) There is created the Board of Nursing, which
shall be composed of 13 members to be appointed and have the duties and powers enumerated
in this section. The membership of the board shall be inclusive and reflect the racial, gender,

Section 16-38A-3 Filling vacancies, length of terms, and quorum of members of advisory board.
(a) The first appointees shall be appointed by the fifth legislative day of the 1993 Regular
Session of the Legislature and shall serve until their successors are appointed on the fifth
