Section 16-47-133 Appropriations made under article not to adversely affect other appropriations made to university. Since it is the purpose of this article to establish and maintain a collegiate school of nursing to be administered by the Board of Trustees of the University of Alabama, and since the said board of trustees in order to carry out that purpose, must necessarily continue to operate the University of Alabama as an institution accredited by the national and regional standardizing agencies, it is hereby expressly provided that appropriations made under this article, being set apart exclusively for the said school of nursing and for no other purpose, shall not adversely affect appropriations made to the university in support of its other schools, colleges, divisions and activities. (a) The Director of ADECA may establish and administer the broadband accessibility grant program for the purpose of promoting the deployment and adoption of broadband Internet access services to unserved areas.
