Section 16-47-152 Scholarships to division of nursing - Amount and conditions; selection of
recipients. Each scholarship provided for by this article shall be in the amount of $600.00
per year, payable from funds appropriated to the Division of Nursing of the University of

Section 16-47-172 Scholarships; standards and requirements for admission. The Board of Trustees
of the University of Alabama is authorized and required to establish 10 scholarships for the
benefit of 10 students in the school of social work. Each scholarship shall be in the amount
of $1,800.00 per year. These scholarships shall be payable from the annual appropriation to
the school of social work. To be eligible for one of these scholarships a person shall be
a young man or woman of good character and shall have been accepted for matriculation by the
authorities of the school of social work in accordance with the current standards and requirements
of such school. These standards and requirements must, in turn, meet in every way the requirements
for admission to an approved graduate school of social work. In awarding these scholarships,
